How to Add the Old Quick Launch Bar to the Taskbar in Windows 7

It should be noted that the new taskbar Windows 7 lets you dock the items of work, by combining the functionality of the taskbar, both the normal and the Quick Launch. For more information, please read our coverage of the beta version of Windows 7, if you have not already.

The screenshot is above the Windows task bar 7 after switching back to XP / Vista way, and adding the Quick Launch toolbar. It seems that Vista, right?

Adding the Quick Launch toolbar in Windows 7 Back

To add the toolbar again, you must right-click an empty area of the taskbar and select Toolbars \ New Toolbar from the menu. Probably also unlock the taskbar at this point.

Now the complicated bit ... you want to paste the following path in the address bar:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Make sure the address bar displays the path, like the following screenshot, before choosing "Select Folder" button.

Immediate notice of the Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar, but everything is in the right lane, so you want, click on the dotted line, then drag the toolbar all the way left (this is a bit difficult at times). Note that you'll need to unlock the right mouse button and task bar before you move the toolbar.

That's all friends of the left ... but now you want to regularly adjust the taskbar to be closer to the left, use the dotted line to tow more.

The normal quick start that we are accustomed to not having a text, right-click on the dotted line and uncheck "Show text" and "Show title" from the menu.

Once you are sure that this is the way you want, you must check the "Lock the Taskbar" again.

And now, the Quick Launch toolbar is back and there is virtually no way to know what Windows 7.
